About the Course
Launch your Podcast or Livestream in 4 weeks!
In 4 weeks, course attendees will plan, create, and launch their own podcast or livestream. Gain hands-on knowledge in setting up, producing, and promoting your own podcast or livestream, including technical setup, content planning, and audience engagement.
Week 1 – Discover & Design
Key Topics:
What makes a podcast vs. a livestream?
Choosing your theme, niche, and audience.
Selecting a format: interviews, solo, co-hosted, or live panel.
Intro to OneStream Live Studio and free student access.
Hands-On:
Students brainstorm and finalize their podcast/livestream idea.
Create a show name, tagline, and draft cover art/branding.
Week 2 – Content & Setup
Key Topics:
Storytelling structure: hooks, flow, and calls-to-action.
Content calendar and episode planning.
Technical setup: microphones, cameras, lighting, and remote guest tools.
Hands-On:
Students script/outline their first episode.
Practical exercise: set up and test-record in OneStream Live Studio.
Week 3 – Production & Recording
Key Topics:
Hosting skills: presence, energy, and interviewing techniques.
Using OneStream Live overlays, intros/outros, and branding.
Recording best practices and editing basics.
Hands-On:
Students run a mock recording or livestream rehearsal.
Record their first full episode (raw version).
Peer and instructor feedback session.
Week 4 – Launch & Promote
Key Topics:
Publishing your podcast to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.
Streaming to multiple platforms via OneStream Live.
Repurposing: turning livestreams into podcast episodes and clips.
Promotion strategies: teasers, trailers, and audience engagement.
Hands-On:
Students launch their first episode or livestream event.
Create a mini marketing plan for their next 3 episodes.
Showcase: everyone presents their podcast/livestream to the group.
By the end of 4 weeks, students will have:
A branded podcast/livestream concept.
A published first episode (recorded or live).
A 3-episode content plan.
Practical skills in OneStream Live Studio.

Chryssa Skodra
Chryssa Skodra is a Greek business journalist, podcast producer, and blogger who has lived in Finland since 2005. She is an experienced interviewer and podcast producer and host, with a background as a radio DJ and news presenter.
Currently, Chryssa is a Streaming Partner and Host at OneStream Live, a cloud-based live streaming platform from Finland that enables creators and businesses to broadcast live or pre-recorded videos to more than 45 platforms simultaneously, as well as embed them on their websites.
With a passion for storytelling and digital media, she helps individuals and brands bring their stories to life through engaging audio and video content, while equipping them with practical tools and strategies to grow their global reach.
